Martinique is right atop the main building, but you completely lose the charm of that 'private' feeling you mention. Unless you've got a physical reason to be so close to the buisiest part of the resort, I'd recommend a different tact. CBR is not like a typical Disney property.....it's very quaint despite being one of the largest hotels in the country.
Jamaica gives you that great private aura and its a small skip across an awesome bridge to the food court / services area. My 4 year old lives for 8pm walks with his dad across the bridge to get ice cream sundaes
