Just back folks from three weeks in the magical place.

I was worried about the CBR as had read a few reports regarding walking etc, however I cannot praise the hotel enough. By no way is it a deluxe resort however it is a place that has a wonderful feel good factor, has a good atmosphere, is clean and has the lovely hamocks on the beach, plus all the people we spoke to were ever so friendly and always happy to help.

The DDP - okay if you can get the free DDP DO IT!! We stayed three weeks as stated and had dinner at the following places :

1. Narcossesse (sp)
2. Jiko (twice)
3. Flying Fish
4. Artist Point
5. Aloha Dinner Show
6. Planet Hollywood
7. Raglan Road
8. Boma
9. Spoodles
10. San Angel Inn
11. Shutters at Caribbean Beach

Now from the above I can tell you we saved a fortune, at number 1 - I had lobster as a main course which on its on was $55.

The dining plan does give you to much food and at times we had to say no, however what a money saver and I can only imagine how much you could save with say a family of four.

Unfortunately last time to florida for a few years.....

The parks in September were brilliant not many q's, it was a brilliant time.

For anyone thinking about the Caribbean Beach, it is defo worth a visit, great resort.

:rolleyes1

We are due to stay there in 21 sleeps time.

Couple of questions if I may.

What is breakfast in the food court like and how crowded does it get
Would you recommend Shutters? Again is it crowded in the evening and did you have to make a reservation
How long does it take to reach the parks by Disney transportation?

many many thanks for the recommendations for CBR.....we are due to go in 2 WEEKSSS YAY!!!!!
been a little worried though as we have also read a few negative reports on this particular hotel.
So thanks for sharing your opinion......glad to hear your 3 weeks was magical:thumbsup2
