im so let down. We decided to make the switch to CBR for our Oct 30 trip. I just logged on to Disney and ALL the queen rooms are booked already! I thought being this many months out there would still be some left. Looks like we will be staying at Pop as originally planned. Please tell me it won't be that big of a difference with a 2 year old. I really want to be there Halloween week but we may have to move it. The king size would mean 1)we'd all have to share a bed 2) it would cost $100 more per night than Pop instead of $60 more per night.

I personally LOVE POP. Even did an adult only trip with 4 women and we all shared the room and it wasn't an issue for us,but everyone is different. And it doesn't surprise me that there is no rooms in your desired category left even this far out for your dates.

It's just my luck I think! For 3 weeks before and 2 weeks after there is plenty of availability it looks like and if I could adjust by one day there is availability. Just the night of Nov 4th is an issue.

Yeah, it looks like 10/30-11/5 shows no availability, but if you change the checkout date to 11/4 or 11/6, availability opens up. I don't get it. Does anyone know if you could book 10/30-11/6 and then call to have them take off the last day?

Consider booking the room thru a third party vendor rather than directly from Disney. When we were going in January, I had trouble finding a room at any value resort, but when I checked travelocity and Southwest Vavations, they both has lots of availability.

We have stayed at both CBR and POP, but POP is our favorite. You might really enjoy it! CBR is SO big! If you got preferred at POP, I bet you would enjoy it more than CBR.

We are doing an 11 hr drive so we wouldn't be able to check in the day before unless we took off work an extra day unfortunately

I have done both and prefer pop due to its one bus stop. The huge # of bus stops at CBR drives me bonkers.

So - it's requiring you to do a 2 night weekend stay to book it??? That's not something I am used to seeing. Is a certain night stay over required for your rate?

I would book it thru 11/6 and call back in a few weeks to remove a day and see what happens.

I would keep the room at PoP at the same time and just have a different lead on each reservation until later. This assumes you are okay paying the deposit on both rooms now and would be sure to cancel the one you don't need when it gets closer.

Your dates are available on Orbitz. If you use there promo code at check out you can get an addition 15% off

Disney doesn't do this anymore. They won't add a subtract a day the way they used it. There have been a lot of discussion threads that are dedicated to this topic. They won't allow changes to the dates of a trip unless there is availability for the new trip dates.

I can't comment on Pop as we've never stayed there, but I wanted to say keep checking on CBR if that's where you want to stay. Availability does sometimes change, so the dates you need might become available later. As others have posted, you could also try booking through a third party. Good luck :).

I agree look at Orbitz or Travelocity, they often have dates available that aren't on the WDW site. Also, consider a split stay, maybe doing your first night at Pop then moving over to CBR for the rest of the trip. Gives you an extra night that way.

I prefer Pop to cbr. And having a two year old didn't change where I stayed; 2 year olds don't actually really care lol.

Since it seems they have a car that doesn't have to matter. We drive everywhere. Hate disney transportation.

Good idea.

Correct.

We will just keep checking! Hoping somethings come up. DH suggested POR if it doesn't but POR is usually excluded from any discounts right?

Good luck! CBR is worth the trouble!

POR is usually included in most discounts. POFQ is usually excluded.
