We are highly considering CBR as our moderate choice - based on the food court, new Nemo rooms, decent pool for teens, dresser storage space, 2 sinks and the largest sized moderate rooms. We need to fit a twin areo bed for our teen DD so she does not sleep with our teen DS.

:)It will be Peak season when we go - Easter weeks 2010 - lots of people at WDW and resort reservations filled to capacity.

Now on to the bus crowds and routes.....

If the bus to the Parks stops at Jamaica first, continues to Aruba, then stops at Barbados, Martinique, OPR, Trinidad North, & Trinidad South, and then leaves for the Parks......

If we request a preferred room in Martinique....
Then will the bus be packed ?

Do they run more than one bus, which only picks up at a few of the "islands" on early morning Park entry days ?

:confused:Please help & adivse abouth the CBR buses:confused:

Thank you for the great website.

We hope to get the preferred room in Martinique.
It would be great to be the 1st bus stop for MK.

For EPCOT, DHS & AK maybe we could walk to the Jamaica bus stop from Martinique. From the amp, it looks like we would just go past the food court & pool, over the foot bridges, then walk between Jamaica and Aruba to get to the Jamaica bus stop. Maybe it would be a 10 minute walk. Not a bad stroll at 6:45 AM for an early bus to EPCOT, DHS or AK. I bet the walk would be nice and relaxing. :goodvibes

Why is Martinique considered a preferred area? I realize it has two beaches (we never used the beach...you can't go in the water). Some parts of Martinique are farther from Ol Port Royale than Jamaica or Aruba. We stayed in Jamaica 45. Its the building right next to the bridge. We crossed over the bridge and were immediately at Old Port Royale and the main pool (which with teens you would probably use more so than the traditional pool in the respective country)

Jamaica was the first stop at the end of the night for us and it was a quick walk to our room. And, the location of our room was very quiet facing an inner court yard on the first floor.

We did wait for the bus, sometimes, at Old Port Royale ...there were days when the buses were full and days when it seemed like we were waiting for a bus for Epcot or MK (again at OPR...Jamaica was no problem). On those days we just asked another bus driver if they could radio in and get us a bus...and within 5 minutes, one appeared. Also, there was a transportation specialist often at the Old Port Royale bus stop...but from what I understand...that is not the norm.

We were there from the 2nd through the 9th of June. Not terribly crowded...8s pretty much so our experience may have been different.

My point is..why don't you just see about requesting a room in Jamaica 45 (although its not guaranteed)...I guess I answered my own question...you don't want to make the request and then get something that really stinks!!
