Just booked CBR. Was a toss up between CSR but CSR filled up as I debated :rolleyes:So CBR it is. We have younger kids 4 and 6 yo. We won't eat at food court every day, maybe once or twice during stay and we will only be going to pool one afternoon. Most important thing is closeness to bus and bus service. So, which bldg do you recommend? I've read a little more since booking and am a little concerned about bus service now.

TIA!

Lisa

We did not find the bus service at CBR to be a problem in regards to frequency or anything...we never waited very long. We were in Barbados, which was a pretty decent distance (about 10 minutes with 2 small, tired kids at the end of the night) from Old Port Royale. But, the bus stop was right across the parking lot and a little road (about 2 minutes). There are bus stops at each "village" so you should be fine. Our only issue was all of the internal stops (at each village), sometimes we'd be first to get off sometimes we'd be last, depending on how the bus driver entered the resort.

We liked Jamaica. We were next to the quiet pool, and across the parking lot from the bus stop. Jamaica is often the first to be picked up, (depending on route driver takes) because it's close to the service entrance.

with ages of your kids, you should go to the main pool a few times, they have a great themed pool with childrens play area. They would love it!

It's also a short walk over to the food court. We mostly just had breakfast there, and to refill our resort mugs.

We also request Jamaica. Quiet pool is right there along with the bus stop.

We were in Martinque in building 23 or 24 I can't remember what one it was, it was pretty close to a bus stop and a short walk to the Main pool and there was there own pool right there. I would HIGHLY recommend staying as close as you can get to the main pool area because you can be very far. Also, if you are bringing stroller you might want to request ground floor since there are no elevators.

CBR is my favorite Disney Resort and I have stayed at many Deluxe resorts. It's perfect for young children. There are many play areas on the beaches around the property and they have their own Island - Caribbean Cay - that is fun for kids and adults. We like to stay in Aruba or Jamaica which is an easy walk to Port Royale if you use Caribbean Cay. The bridge entrance to the island is between these two areas. When you cross the island and over the bridge on the other side you are at Port Royale and the pirate-themed-pool area. Here is a link to some info on Caribbean Cay and CBR.

We just booked a Nov trip there - it was requested by my 16 yr old nephew. Perfect for all ages.

Aruba is our favorite bldg. The bus stop is right out front. Not a really long walk to the main pool, but there are the quiet pools right beside Aruba as well.

We love CBR, its our favorite MOD. We have not had bad luck with the bus system. However, MK buses are always the ones that are packed to the brim coming and going. But we have stayed at other resorts and found that to be true as well. Service has always been great, and there is internal bus that will take you to Port Royale if you do not feel like walking (Food Court).

Enjoy!
