CB Aug. 26-31..Bad time to go??

We'll be at the CB the last week of Aug. , are the resorts and parks crowded yet this late into the summer? We have one of our girls entering high school and we're hoping to squeeze a trip in before the summer's over but don't want to go if it's still crowded. Also, I assume the temps. are still way up there, are the CB pools crowded during the day?

It's a great time to go, but it's HOT! We were at WDW last year at that time and it wasn't crowded at all.

Florida kids are back to school that week so its less crowded.

I think a lot of kids would be back in school already. We go back before Labor Day.

We went at the beginning of August, 2 years ago. It was hot but not unbearable and I didn't notice the pool at All Star Sports to be that crowded at all.

we love to go the last week of august.People have already had
summer vacations and are getting ready for the kids to go back to school.Alot of people think its just to hot to go then,we live
in massachusetts and its hot here in august. The only set back we
run into is rain in the late afternoon/evening . Just plan to get going early in the day

I'm hoping mid-Aug is a terrific time to go. We're booked for 8/16-8/23. The parks may start decreasing their hours then, but not to as early as Nov closing times!!

Most southern schools have already started, so you should be fine! The only concern is the heat....and the humidity!!

In 1999 we went during the same time frame, and the parks aren't too crowded at all. Just utilize fast pass, take an afternoon break and have a great time!

Mid to end of August is a great time to go! Crowds are lighter than earlier in summer. The weather is hot but you can take advantage of all the water activities that it is sometimes too cool to do during the winter. We used to go then when dd was still in high school. Now that she is in college, she starts classes mid-August and has summer jobs so we go during her winter break in January. But our best trips have been the August ones!!!

I'm usually down there for Labor Day weekend (birthday is August 30) and it's pretty dead. The week after Labor Day is REALLY dead. Epcot looked like a ghost town last year.
