I just started reading the autopsy reports and it says the duct tape was over the mouth and nasal aperture areas. So, unless something shifted, it appears the duct tape was meant to do more than silence her.

Even if the grandparents are involved and confess or if Casey ever confesses, whatever they say will always be suspect. Casey is a pathological liar and I wonder if the apple didn't fall far from the tree sometimes. I don't think we will ever know for sure what happened.

Yep, i totally agree!! Ive said since day one that they had some kind of involvement! As another poster rightly said, my mother would disown me if she thought i had harmed my kids in any way, let alone to have murdered them.
This family just doesnt ring true!

I don't think the grandparents had any thing to do with the killing of Caylee they loved that little girl more then anything. I think maybe the mom found out stuff after the fact. I"m not sure about her dad. I think he is really really hurting more then anything. I think if he knew anything he would report it. He has on more then one occasion turned on Casey. Testify against her at the Grand Jury thing. He did an interview saying Casey had stolen Gas from them

Agree about the father though, he somehow always seemed less involved than the mother. More confusion on his part than anything else.
However, i think what maybe swung it for me was last November (we were in Orlando at the time) and some bounty hunter guy wanted (and did) to put on another search and the parents refused point blank to have anything to do with it.
THis struck me as odd....... and funnily enough the poor babies body turned up not that long afterwards in the same area almost as these people had searched.

Unfortunately, this story isnt "news" over here in Scotland, so i have to rely on the Orlando Sentinel online for updates, and as media tends to be a bit one-sided, i can only go on what i have access to.

I never heard the cops come out and say they thought casey killed her with chloroform. I heard plenty of talking heads jump to that concluseion but never heard the cops say that I have heard the cops say very little. The Anthonys sure have alot to say and most of it is disproven but the cops haven't come out and said much at all.
