Caution paying WDW Travel Company

I have just phoned WDW Travel Company to pay a chunk off our balance for August.

At the beginning of the call, the CM confirmed our outstanding balance. I then paid the amount I wanted to and the confirmed what I had left to pay. Problem was, she stated I owed more than £150 more than the original outstanding amount less the amount I'd paid.

I was adamant that the amount I owed had suddenly increased and she said well that's what the system says.

We established what had happened is that the additional 5% discount code I had used (JULY10 or something) when I booked on the WDW site in August had been voided. She's now having to involve other departments to reduce our balance down.

Take care when paying and double check every amount they tell you, there is clearly another Disney computer glitch causing this.
 
I think this has happened to us. We paid the balance a month back but I'm sure it seemed more then we thought but couldn't work out why but we had used the code too :(
 
Mrs Tigger, double check on your original booking email with them and the will credit your account with the difference. She said it is their fault (computer error) this has happened and it is being sorted. They should either refund the difference or give you a voucher to take with you.
 

Thanks it seems the original email is about £100 different to what we have paid in full but I'm not sure if the email about includes the voucher code because its not mentioned anywhere.

Does it not show if you log into manage my booking online? It used to give a breakdown but I don't have a live reservation to be able to check and see if it still displays it that way
 
If you look at your original invoice when you booked, there is about 1 full page of stuff including accommodation, tickets and then loads of free promotions $100 gift voucher, discount voucher for x place, extra magic hours etc etc, the list goes on (mostly at £0.00) My original email list of blah has -£154.70 listed on there under the category 'JULY ONLINE OFFER'.

If not, phone them and ask them to go back to your original booking in August or whenever you made it and track every payment to see where they made the error.

No it just gives the total when we log in online, we've checked the invoices and the code was added and taken off (we paid in to half)so they are refunding the amount :) glad I read this thread otherwise I wouldn't have checked it so thank you!
 
So pleased you have got it sorted out x I suspect a lot of people may have this and not realise :-(
