CATSKILLS REGION-OT..any tips?

Going to be vacationing for long weekend in Nov. for our 15th Anniversary in the Catskills Region......we will be staying at the Emerson Lodge in Mt. Tremper and will be visiting Woodbury Commons on the way up (live in NJ) and visiting Woodstock and the Wineries of Hudson Valley.

Does anyone live up here? Any tips on stores, restaurants or wineries? Any advice is appreciated.
