Both. Have always had dogs. Grew up with pepper who died when she was 13 and I was 13. I cried for weeks.
I didn’t get my first cat until I was in my 20s and fell in love. At one time we’re had 4 cats and 3 dogs. Now we are dog free and just have cats.
