Cats and Toilets - is yours intrigued and why???

absolutly! Any time the toilet is flushed, Lula has to be right up there to watch, and usually once its finished, she halfway climbs in to drink the water.

She LOVES the sink, too! And if Im washing my hair by sticking my head over the side of the tub, she hops in the tub and chases the bubbles.

I cracked up when i found out that her name, Tallulah, means "Leaping Waters"- certainly fits her!

When my cats were younger, they liked to watch the toilet flush. Now that they’re older (12), I think they’ve gotten over their fascination with it and are even a little scared about the flushing noise. They do still come in with me – sometimes both of them at the same time. I think they regard it as some sort of quality time with mom. Otis likes to jump up on the hamper that is next to the toilet and be petted. Misty, who has a thing for plastic bags, will find the pack of TP and lick the plastic – while being petted, of course.

OMG...some of these are hilarious!!!! I love that pick of Tallulah...what a cutie!

Well last night - cause I started this thread - I really watched and listened to her and dh went in there after dinner and she was actually downstairs in the basement - sure enough, guess who comes flying upstairs and waits outside the door!!!!! ROFL it was very funny!

Glad to know I'm not the only one with psycho kitties!!! OK what is the deal with the plastic? Pete will destroy anything plastic by putting teeth markes in it. And not just one bite, oh no he must destroy the bag (or anything else I was foolish enough to leave within his reach). Pete and Gwen don't try to sit on my lap, they just put their tails way up in the air and rub their sides and head up against and though my legs

Oh yeah - Candi loves plastic too - and the worst one is her plastic liner in her litter box. The part that hangs out the front...she tries to scrap it into her box...like when she's covering her mess....it's annoying (the sound) but it's so hilarious. Well for dh and I - it ticks dd off when she's changing the litter liner because it spills all over.

Our older kitty, Muggles, loves plactic, too. Drives me crazy as he shoes on the trash bags in the trash cans.

Eating cats: Cats need some OIL in their Diets, and when they chew on the plastic bags, etc. this is how they get the Oil. I know it sounds weird, but this is the condensed version of the article I read a few years back. My youngest, Miss Tiggie, wakes me UP chewing on Publix Plastic grocery Bags!
