Whos who
Me Cath, 32
DH Tony, 34
DS1 Anthony 4 years, 10 months
DS2 Christopher, 3 years 11 months
We shared a villa with the McCusker Family - Ann Marie, my cousin, Her DH Michael, and their kids John, Michael and Gerard, ages 11, 9 and 6
We were sticking to our itinerary today with Universal Studios!!! We were there just after 9, and our main priority was Shrek!!
My cousins cool bag was not allowed into the park as it was too big!! So she had to go back to the car with it!
We get into the park and the wait time for Shrek is already 90 minutes!!! We go to get U. Express but they are out of order!! So we go into Jimmy Neutron great fun. The CM tells us that Express passes for Shrek will be available at Twister so when we leave there everyone RUNS towards Twister. We waited 30 minutes to get Express passes for Shrek our return time was 3.40pm, and this was before 10am!!!
We head round to Jaws, then Back to the Future cool as ever, now kids want to watch the film!! ET was great bit of a Q though. Not been on this since 1996!! Woody Woodpecker was next DS2 wanted to ride it twice he loved it! We had our packed lunch under the canopy next to Animal Planet Live, and finish just in time to see the 12md show!! It got very hot in there!! Kids lived the urangutang!!!!
We have a look round some shops, and a look in the arcade. We stop for drinks and ice cream and another look round the shops the Shrek shop is extremely appealing to all!!! The cuddly gingerbread man is just to cute to resist!!!
By 3pm the storm clouds are gathering so we find a seat undercover, and sure enough the heavens open!!! We wait until our time slot for Shrek then head round in the rain. WOW it was fantastic. I loved it so did everyone!!!
So now time for dinner we decide to try Hard Rock Café, and so glad we did!!! We were seated upstairs, next to the doors leading to the outside area handy for watching the fantastic thunder storm!! We push the boat out today and have starters Jumbo Mumbo? No it was Jumbo Combo I think it was called, then Tony had fajitas and I had Baby Back Ribs. It was very good. And although it was quite expensive it was worth it. We leave just as the storm has ended and head back to the car.
We stop at Publix on the way home for a few essentials, namely muffins, crisps and Coke!! Then we head home!!
