Cath's Trip Report - Day 13 - No More Tea Cups........hooray!!!!

Who’s who

Me – Cath, 32
DH – Tony, 34
DS1 – Anthony 4 years, 10 months
DS2 – Christopher, 3 years 11 months

We shared a villa with the McCusker Family - Ann Marie, my cousin, Her DH Michael, and their kids John, Michael and Gerard, ages 11, 9 and 6.

I can’t believe this is our last day!!! Asked the kids where they wanted to go – and no surprises they picked MK!!

We leave extra early, and arrive before opening time. We see Mickey and Co arrive on the train at Main St Station!!!!

We have a list of ‘must do’s’ today since this is our last day – hard to believe that this is our fifth visit to MK this trip and still not done Splash, BTMR and Magic Carpets!!! So we head off towards Adventurland. Magic Carpets has absolutely noone waiting so we get on! Then we head towards BTMR – no wait so on we go. This is one of my favourites – it was brilliant as ever. DS2 loved it and wants to ride again. DS1 not so sure, so I ride again with DS2.

Tony goes to Splash Mountain for FP’s for later. We do Pirates of the Caribbean again while we wait for our time slot, then we do Splash Mountain. This was my very first time ever on Splash – and I was a bit apprehensive about the drop, and holding onto the kids during it was worrying me too!!!
Because neither of us had been on it before we didn’t know how long it was till the drop, so that added to the excitement!! Wow, it was brilliant. The kids were so excited by it – they loved it, and we weren’t that wet which was a bonus after the Kali episode!!

We went round to Fantasyland and did It’s a Small World and Peter Pan, then round to Buzz for FP’s. While waiting, yes you guessed it TeaCups, twice!!!! We had our very last go on Buzz then headed to Main St USA – last minute shopping consisted of Spectro CD and Aerial toppers for the car 6 different designs!!! I smashed a snow globe……!! But it was only a small one, the CM said not to worry!!#

We leave MK for the last time - hey no more TeaCups..... and at the Monorail station we ask to ride up front – hey we get to drive!!!! It was cool – the CM didn’t say much though.

We decide on Friendly’s for the last time, then it’s home to the villa to pack, for the long journey home tomorrow!!!
Decide we need more bags so off to WalMart we go.

Then we pack!!!!
