Hi , planning to go at WDW for Christmas. I want to rent a 3br villa and host on the 24. Do you know if it is possible to have food delivered at the villa ? Thanks for all the tips you can give me .

Uhhh, if you haven't already rented it, you are probably too late. Holidays have to be booked closer to the 11 month mark.

As posted above, if you haven't rented a villa yet, chances are your going to be out of luck to rent in December. You might want to look for confirmed reservations from brokers or on facebook, but those rentals will be expensive.

All resorts are available at WDW with the exception of Jambo House at AKV. Some are only available on the 24th. Some are available for 24,25,26 and some are available for longer.

The date that is more difficult to get is New Years Eve.

But, it is a good idea to get going if you want the room. The 7 month window is not far off. You can reserve now if you have a member with home resort points.

As far as catering, did you want WDW to cater or are you having food brought in? I would suggest you arrange for the rental and in the process have the member ask the questions of member services. The villa accommodates 12 plus 1 child under 3 for sleeping. I'm not sure what the rules are regarding a catered affair/numbers of guests/and other details.

By any chance are you a member yourself? I see that you may be from your signature. You may want to talk to the resort you choose or speak to member services if you want more info. I know that people do host events in spaces such as the restaurants or at BWV, the Attic. There may be other spaces as well. Not sure what a guest count would be for a grand villa.

Thanks , I will call to have all the information and make sure that everything is done according to the policy. Yes I am a member, but a new one. Hope to get to use my points in 2022.

You can cater, the issue you are going to run into is access to the resort for your guests. Im not sure how many day guests are allowed.

When I was planning my daughter's Disney wedding, we were looking into catering into our room for the rehearsal dinner. There were plenty of companies that do catering that will deliver to Disney resorts. I'm sure you can do this.

Have this same question and wanted to know if anyone has any more insight in the past 5 monts! We will be celebrating my daughter's 13th bday in early Dec in a 3 bedroom Grand Villa at BLT. 11 of us staying in the villa. Am looking for some options to cater. While we could do the Publix tray option we prefer not to have to handle all of that and would like someone else to get the food, bring to villa and set up. But we do not need a chef or servers or anything like that - prepared food ready to go! Contacted Disney private events but they have a $5000 minimum and we do not need all that! If anyone has used any restaurant/caterer that would do this, I would greatly appreciate the information.

Look above in this thread. Highly recommend looking on the Ear for Each Other FB group-lots of amazing laid off cast members there who cater.
