Any suggestions for cabin numbers for a category 6??? We need adjoining rooms. It will be myself, DH, DD age 6, DS age 5 and grandma and grandpa.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

As always thanks very much!!:Pinkbounc

There are many connecting rooms on deck 6, I believe. This summer my parents and I have 6044 and 6046 (DS will be in their room) and then my sister's family will be on their other side in 6048.

Can you let me know how you like this location?? We're in cabin #6042 for our cruise this summer :) Thanks!

We were in connecting cabins (make sure you specify this is you want the inside doors to open up to each others' staterooms; adjoining simply means next to) on Deck 7 - 7600 and 7602. We loved the location because it was near the aft elevators/stairway - so close to things yet quieter than mid-ship. When I look at the Deck 6 plan, I'd consider 6620 and 6622 or 6612 and 6614. If mid-ship appelas to you, how about 6572 and 6574? Have a great time!

We were in the exact same spot as Rock'n Robin, but on the other side of the ship in 6544 and 6546. I would HIGHLY recommend these cabins if you can get them. We really enjoyed the location and the views. We were on the 7-day Western and had a beautiful view of Key West from our verandahs. Also, if the ship backs in at Castaway Cay (which is usually, but not always, the case) you will have a view of the island from these cabins.

Robin,

How did you like your location?

We were also thinking of booking a Cat. 5 to be sort of in the middle between the pool and the kids clubs but I don't know if one deck higher is that big of a convenience factor.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

We've stayed in 6616 before and will again in November. It truly is a GREAT location. We love being right next to the aft stairs and elevators, as they are rarely used. You're one deck up from the clubs, short walk to the aft stairs, and a quick walk down to Animators Palate and Parrot Cay. The buffet is only 3 decks up, as is the pool deck and the Mickey Pool. It truly was VERY convient and we hardly ever used the elevators. I also enjoy aft since it's not very busy back there.

Popovich, we haven't gone yet,:D but I'll be posting as soon as we get home in July. I kind of wish we were on the other side since we were on the other side on our Wonder cruise, but I was more concerned about a near-midship location with 3 rooms together.

Thanks Robin and everyone. I appreciate your help.

What is the benefit of being in the middle of the ship, less motion?

Does anyone know what is at the empty forward spot on deck 7 and deck 6? Is it a viewing deck???

Thanks again!!!

Our family of 6 stayed in rooms 6072 and 6074 adjoining. It was perfect very little motion even when the seas were rough. We were close to the elevator but there really wasn't an excessive amount of use of the middle elevator...did not notice alot of traffic. Very quiet.. We loved it so much we booked the same rooms again for our March 20, 2004 cruise.
