Hi everyone!

Hope I am posting in the right place. Could someone please tell me what is the difference between a category 4 family stateroom with veranda and a category 5 family staterooom with veranda? Which is better??? We are going to book our first Disney Cruise for 2010. I would really appreciate any info.

Thanks,

BernW

Category 5 & 6 are exactly the same, 268 sq ft- 6 are a little less expensive and are on Deck 5 & 6- Cat 5 is on Deck 7. Both sleep 4. Cat 4 sleeps 5 and has a little more room at the end by the balcony, 304 sq ft- and it's on Deck 8. I am sure the 4s are lovely, but we were in a Cat 5 and there were 4 of us, there was plenty of room. We rebooked onboard in a Cat 6 to save a little $ and we'll be on the 6th deck instead.:goodvibes

I have stayed in Cat 4 (deck 8), Cat 5 (deck 7) and Cat 6 (deck 6). Although I did like the additional room in Cat 4, my favorite deck is 7-- Here is why-- it is the QUIETEST deck-- staterooms above you, staterooms below you. On deck 8, if you are towards the AFT (my favorite location) you sometimes here them setting up at Topsiders above you very early in the am. Also, if you are MIDSHIP deck 6, you can sometimes hear the kids activities below you. So, Deck 7 is the perfect level!

Also, we are a family of 3 and have plenty of room in any of the categories. We do stay on Deck 8 (cat 4) when my Mom travels with us.
