In the Disney brochure and on the website it states that some Category 4 cabins sleep 5. Is there any way to know which sleep five or do all of the Category 4's have an extra bed?
I Thought they all sleeped 5.
That was the purpose of them. The extra 5 ft after the sofa/sleeper is for the Murphy bed to pull down. There is also a bunk bed that pulls down over the sofa/sleeper.

I emailed DCL and they quickly replied that all Category 4 Cabins sleep 5. The DCL website and brochure have conflicting information depending on where you look.
If you don't know where to look for the murphy bed you may not even see it. It is decorated as a steamer trunk up against the wall. It would be easy to overlook.

??? Actually the steamer trunk is a storage unit, that came in very handy, by the way!! The murphy bed is on the opposite wall, between the sofa and verandah. Ours had a chair in front of it.
I hope this works (never done it before) but if this picture works you can kind of see that the murphy bed is right next to the couch (where the towel is) and it is a big box looking thing. It is folded down at night and put back up in the day. In the day there is a chair in front of it. On the right side of the picture you can kind of make out the steamer trunk which is great for storage.
This is a photo of the steamer trunk

Ps..we were in 8504/8506 and they both slept 5 as well as 8550 which we had a few years earlier.
