Anyone ever been in this cabin on the Wonder? We are sailing in May and are very excited. This will be our first Disney Cruise. Anyone have any details?

We were next door in 8532 for our January cruise. I thought it was an excellent location and loved the different layout. Having the murphy bed in the living room made it seem so much bigger. Plus, you have a triple length verandah instead of the double which comes with the other category 3's. We had 4 chairs, plus a lounge chair out there. As for noise, I did notice the humming of the elevator at times, but it really didn't bother me at all.

Do you have all the details on the room and know that you will receive concierge service as part of the category 3? If not, then the room is furnished with a couch (opens up), 2 chairs with ottomans, murphy bed and a dining room table for 4 is in the living room. The entertainment center houses the tv, cd player and a vcr. There is a list of music and movies that are available through the concierge staff if you don't want to bring your own. Just check the guide that's in your room. There are 2 sliders onto the deck from the living room and one from the master bedroom. That also contains a big walk in closet, vanity table and full bathroom. There is a 2nd bathroom off the entry way.

Concierge service is very nice. Before you cruise, you're able to make your Palo reservations with the DCL dining manager. At the terminal, they have a separate check-in area and you get gold room key cards. After registering, they escort you over to the couches to wait for boarding, you don't need to stand in line. The boarding order is those guests needing assistance are first, followed by concierge and then general boarding begins. On board, they have a meet & greet setup in one of the lounges on deck 3. Stop by, have a cold drink and take a seat. Your concierge team will come over and introduce themselves. They'll assist you with any tours, wine tasting, spa appointments, last minute excursion booking or special requests that you might have. Staff from the kids clubs will also come over to speak with you if you have a need for their services. After that, you're all set to relax, grab something to eat and/or swim. At about 1:30 the staterooms are cleared for entry. You'll be stocked with some assorted sodas, waters and a fruit basket on your first day. After that, you'll get daily treats like a plate of assorted cookies, canapes, mini dessert tray and if you have kids, they may receive coloring books or arcade cards. Concierge will check in with you daily and they have another get together with cocktails and some food. Because there are only 22 suites, you get very personalized service. You'll notice in your room guide, that there is some stationary with your name printed on it. I thought that was a nice touch. At the end of the cruise, we've received gifts from the concierge staff which have included some beautiful lithographs. Another perk of concierge is that you are able to order full hot breakfasts each morning (except for disembarking, only continental breakfast is available) and you can order room service from any of the restaurants.

Can't answer your question but wondering which May cruise you're on. We're on the 5/12, 3 night sailing and in cabin 8526. It's a category 4 but sounds like it's near yours. Maybe we'll be neighbors!

If you PM your regular e-mail address to me, I can send you a link to my photo album of that cabin.

The suite is AMAZING! :sunny:
