I think, I'm not sure; but vegans cut out all animal products from their diet. They won't eat meat or dairy. Vegitarians just cut out meat.

As for the poll, I've wanted to be a vegitarian for about a year. My horrible eating habits wouldn't allow me to do it, though.

If I ever have children and they ask why the world is so messed up, I want to be able to tell them that it wasn't my fault.

No, but eating animals certainly doesn't help anything.

Vegans dont eat anything that COMES from an animals. (milk, butter, cheese, ext.)

vegitarians dont eat it if an animal died for it.

im a vegan, have been for almost 2 years

it was hard. im not going to lie. most of my family are hunters, and huge meat eaters. (depressing, i know)
my tips are.
tell your family how you feel.
start SLOWLY.
if you wanna be vegan, start veg.
it would be extreamly hard to cut out all meat and animal products out at once (not to mention un-healthy)
do your research.
theirs lots of web sites and books that can help.

The cold hard truth of the matter is that I cannot be a vegetarian, because my picky eating makes me NEED meat in my diet. If it wasn't for the meat that I do have, I would probably starve, and or, get a serious disease.

I love animals, I love watching them. I just can't give up meat.

The only animals I eat are: Chicken, Beef, Pork. I would NEVER eat Bunny or Deer, they're cute.

I give all vegitarians and vegans in the world credit for their lifestyle. I've never even tried, but I can just imagine how hard it is to change.

I told my parents last year that I wanted to be a vegitarian, and they freaked.

I'm neither. I love steak and I couldn't imagine not eating meat. It's also a good source of protein. My mom was a vegetarian, but then quit because she didin't feel well on that kind of diet.
