No, the #50 Lynx bus will take you to Sea World cheap. To get from Disney to Universal by Lynx, it takes 3 busses and 2 hours. Not worth it unless you want a long adventure.

To get from Disney to USF, you have to take the #50, then another bus to I-Drive, then another one that drops you off at the Holiday Inn across the street.

Most people use a limo service.

Sounds like a conspiracy to me to make it as difficult as possible.
Some of the offsite hotels offer shuttles to all the locations. I am assuming though, you are staying on Disney property.

Mears Transportation charges about $14 per person round trip from WDW to Universal.

But they have horrible service. Last month we used them and they "forgot" us. And there was about 15 of us waiting at Coronado. Eventually Disney gave us a ride to Universal (now there's an experience) According to some CM's at our resort this lacking service happens a lot.

Depending how many people are in your group take a cab or get a towncar.

Right, it does depend on how many are in the group.

Phamton made the most awesome post describing 3 ways you can go and how much it costs. Try this thread.

Me? I tell everyone to rent the car. Yes, it's expensive with parking, gas, and the rental car fee, but then you have total freedom to go anywhere when you want.

Hotel shuttles are also spotty at best. They don't run like the Disney busses.

A friend of mine mentioned a $16.00 ride from WDW to IOA, just wondering of thats round trip. I also called associate transport which I have used int he past. they were 40 each way. Think I may just rent a car! thanks all.

Your friend is thinking of Mears Transportation. The price is round trip but its per a person so if you have a large group it might be cheaper to rent a car.
