Has anyone been on this excursion? I was thinking about it for DD14 and I next June. Opinions anyone? :moped:

I took that excursion in November and thought it was pretty good. The boat is relatively small, but I enjoyed sitting on the "netting" in the bow of the catamaran. There were families with school-age children there too, who were having a good time.

It was windy when we were underway. We motored to the snorkeling site and sailed back. I wouldn't bring anything you can't tuck into a beach bag. There is only a small cabin (with restrooms) so wear sunscreen.

The snorkeling was very good. Lots of colorful coral and many different fish. Good for both beginners and experienced snorkelers who are comfortable swimming. They provide inflatable life vests, but the water is about 10-15ft deep :flower1: .

Great, I'm glad it is an enjoyable time. Does anyone remember about how long you actually get to snorkle?

I seem to remember it was suppose to be around 45 min.

We had some problems dropping anchor (this actually only took about 10 mins. but....).

Sit near the nets (it was near the ladder to the water) and don't be too polite about getting in line to get down the ladder. Getting into the water seemed to take forever. So move to the line quickly.

We're getting ready to do this excursion on the 12/9 Wonder. Anyone done this in December? I've never snorkeled before and I'm not jazzed about doing it in cool waters. :boat:

And I could probably find this out from DCL, but what time of day does it leave and how long are you gone from the ship?

I know my timer speaks for itself, but I'm leaving within the week and I'm so excited I'm about to bust!!!! :earseek: :earseek: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :hyper: :hyper:

Angielynn10 you have a right to be excited!!!!

Ours left pretty early, maybe 8 or 9. We were back by 1. I don't know if they do later excursions or not.

You could look on one of the recent Wonder Navigator's that is posted. They list what times and where each excursion will meet. It may be slightly different than yours, but it will give you a good idea.

Have fun!!!

Ok, I'll save you some time.

According to 2 navigators from May 2004 and Nov. 2004, this excursion will meet at 9 am in the Cadillac lounge. It appears that this is the only time that this excursion happens.

Just make sure you check your navigator and it should also be on your ticket that should be in your room.

Make sure you take your tickets and release form (signed) with you. Someone always forgets and they have to run back to their room!!!
