Catal to go?

Hi- was wondering if anyone has eaten here and how was the experience? I thought I read it was some what a dressy rest. but not sure..... we will have a child with us age 4. Was wondering if we ordered and asked for it to go... how would they welcome that request? I noticed they have pork belly as an app.... pork belly is so super yummy..... would love to have it while on vacation. Any ideas or suggestions how to eat there with a active 4 year old boy? hehe

We eat at Catal every time we go to Disney and we go with our two DS's who are now 8 and 5, but have been eating there since they were 3 and 6. The food is wonderful, they have a nice children's menu and the wait staff has always been wonderful to our kids. The restaurant has an outside portion that overlooks Downtown Disney and if it is not too cold we request to sit out there since people watching keeps my boys some what occupied and it is noisier, but we have also sat inside by the fireplace which is wonderful as well. We always go after a day in the park in either jeans or shorts and it has never been an issue.

Yeah, go and enjoy! most of the places in downtown disney know that the majority of their business comes from people coming from the parks, so they should not be expecting formal wear, and no children! we've eaten at most of the restaurants in downtown disney, with our DD4, and have never had a problem anywhere. Enjoy yourself!
