Sigh.
My roommate has a cat. I LOVE this cat, however my roommate decided to get this cat and she doesn't want to pay the pet deposit to our landlord. So, she's trying to keep the cat locked in her room. Needless to say, this is a horrible idea, and it's not working. Really not working.
I came home yesterday to her cat having used the restroom on my bed. MY BED! Last week, the cat did #2 in my bathroom. I had a long talk to my roomie about this, told her she had to pay the pet deposit, that this can't happen again. Later in the week, there was cat urine in the bottom bathroom, no litter box.
URGH.
Did I mention that my bedsheets are brand new. I bought them on Friday, and now they are in the wash to HOPEFULLY get out the urine smell. I bought "Nature's Miracle" and have sprayed the bed MANY times today and still have a big yellow stain. This stuff isn't cheap, and personally I am going to blow my top with her when she gets home.
Is there ANYTHING to get this stuff out of my mattress? I know I am going to be sleeping on the couch for the next couple of days, until we go to Disney so hopefully it can airdry ... Did I mention this was a pretty expensive mattress with a pillow top. I'm trying to keep my cool.
Also, since she won't pay the pet deposit ... is there any way I can go to the landlord and get out of this lease? Sigh.
Thanks in advance!
