And here is my Sammy - he is 10 years old and been by my side the entire 10 years. This is him sleeping on my hospital bag I packed before I had my daughter.
I love ALL the cats but esp katie, i think i have a soft spot for torties!
I am gutted I have no digital picys of my fluffy cat, they all passed away nearly 2 years ago, brain tumour, lymphoma and diabetes. We have a beagle that is larger then life that keeps us going , Even after 2 years i can not bring myself to get another cat, I want my cats back not replacements!! I really miss them all like hell.
Here's my 17-year-old baby; he's a main coon (mix I'm sure). He was a stray my parents adopted/saved and when they passed away a few years back - we took him in to live with us. He was an outdoor kitty for most of his life, but he's been an indoor kitty since he's been with us. His name is Kaht (pronounced "cat" but stands for King Alexander hyper Troublemaker).
Catching him in his other favorite spot - my side of the bed:
Being bad (sitting on the table and playing with the water in a cup):
Sleeping in front of the window on the sofa:
Probably thinking "I'm gonna get you back for this!"
Lilo found us...she was crying under my DD's window and her eyes were still closed! I thought she was the stray's kitten, so I put her under the shed - that stray mom didn't want her, so we decided to take her in.
Her eyes opened when i picked her up to put her under the shed, and this pic is of the day after that. Look how dirty she is!
Here's Lilo when we brought her into the house to clean her up a few hours later
Here's DH with Lilo after she was all cleaned up....Look how tiny she is!
Here's Lilo getting a bath a few months ago. We bathe her about every two weeks. I think she likes it!
Here she is coming down the ladder from the loft - her favorite spying spot
