We use the scoopfree kitty liter now with the automatic litter box, the one with the litter that is in the trays and you throw away the whole tray. Well now we are thinking about changing to a litter that is better for the cats and that can possibly be flushed down the toilet. We are thinking about going to pine litter but are open to anything that is good for the kitties (i.e. not toxic)..we also want one that is non tracking..we have wood floors ant the most annoying thing is to step on kitty litter on the floor.

So what we want is something that is Non tracking (doesn't get stuck in their paws) and also is less toxic to the cats.

Please give me what you use and the pros/cons of it.

Thanks :cat:

When Sophie moved into the house we got a Breeze system and I love it. It is easy to scoop the solid waste and flush it, and the girls room is NOT smelly and in this heat it normally would be.

We also love the Breeze System. My cat is a heavy drink thus also a heavy pee-er & it works great I just change the pad more often.

How many cats do you have? The Pine stuff and corn litter doesn't work well for us because we have seven cats. So, we just stick to the scoopable bulk stuff from PETCO. I would love to do the World's Best Cat Litter, but it only seems to work well when you have one cat. :( I wish I could just test mine to use the toilet! ;)

I use the Feline Pine pellets and just remove the solid wastes as I can. I've tried every litter there is and I'm the most satisfied with this. The pine really kills the urine odor. Even when the litter has been in the box for two weeks (removing the poop every day, remember) it smells like a Christmas tree, lol.

I am not sure which auto litter box you are talking about, but you may need to see what types of litter can be used with it. I can only use scoopable litter with ours, no pine pellets. I have thought about trying the breeze system eventually. We will soon have 7 cats to deal with and I only have one Litter Robot which means I will be scooping several other litterboxes! I HATE scooping boxes!! But I love my kitties....so scooping it will be :)

We have 3 cats. We did try the worlds best a couple of years ago, but it still tracks, so we want something like the pine pellets....

We have scoopefree automatic box. It was great when we first got it, and it cut down on the smell, but now we want to try something that has less tracking. Thanks for your advice...

I think this is the way we are going to go. I don't like the idea of having to go back to scooping, but I do what I have to:)...thanks

We use the scoopable Feline Pine (shavings, not pellets). It doesn't get stuck in the cats' paws and it clumps really well. It can be kind of dusty though.
