Do cat's loose their baby teeth? I just found one of her teeth stuck in her fur and I can see where it came out. There is a little blood in her mouth. Is this something I should be concerned about? She's fine and isn't in any pain. But I'll still have to worry until I know if it is normal or not.

Thanks!

I think that cats do lose their baby teeth, but I'm not 100% sure. Could you call a vet's office and ask them about it.
Our older cat is missing two of his long front teeth, one on top and one on the bottom, opposite sides. He looks pretty funny if he opens his mouth. The vet said it didn't really matter cause cats can eat quite well without any teeth if they have to.

Our Ariel cat had a broken canine tooth. We were also told she would live just fine with out it (cost to pull $12) or we could get her a root canal ($300). After it was pulled she always drooled a bit on the side but it was part of her sweet charm.

Our cat did lose baby teeth when he was "growing up" but I can't remember how many.

Yep, they do lose their baby teeth, so if she's still quite young and most likely those are her baby teeth, I wouldn't worry too much. Do keep an eye on her, though, and make sure the spot she lost the tooth from doesn't get infected.

Whew, I feel much better now! Thanks!

Cruisin'Kroezes - The vet's office wasn't open today.

I see, ours is usually open on Saturdays until about 3 or so.
