just got back from a week at PB and had to thank everyone on this ride.

our son is special needs and loves this ride. first day we were there we rode it

5 times in a row - next day 14 times - third day 18 times. On our last day we

decided to let him ride it as much as he wanted. The staff here - everyone of

them were incredible to our son. After his 10th time that day they pulled him

out and took him over for a private meet and greet with The cat in the hat and

the grich and several other characters. It really made his day!

went back to the ride and they let him continue to ride going through child

swap area. When he got off the ride another time they presented him with

a red and white hat- he loved it and is still wearing it at home.

We ended up riding it 30 times in a row! it was the highlight of our trip and

thanks again to everyone for making it so special for our son!!:lovestruc

Holy cow! Ha would have made me barf, lol. My son loves that ride too. Glad you had fun and how awesome they did that!

Awwww, that is such a nice story. It warms my heart!

i wish i could name everyone on the ride but honestly EVERYONE on that ride

was awesome! we are going back in December for our son's Wish trip and can

not wait! we will try and break his record:rotfl2:

what a great way to celebrate his birthday!!:bday:

Cat in the Hat rules.......

i adore that ride.

i do repeats on that ride each trip.
i pretty much have the entire book/dialogue down pat and can rectite it while i am on the ride.

i say go for another record on your next trip!

Glad you had a great time.I also have a special needs child (I bet you can guess her name) and she loves Cat in the Hat. It is probably her favorite ride in the park. I have always found the TMs there to be super friendly and helpful an both IOA and Universal Studios. Our first visit a few years back the older lady working at Barney told us to wait after the show for a private meet and greet with Barney and Baby Bop. That was great in itself, now imagine our surprise when we go back one year later and she remembered Taylor. They really know how to make us all feel special.

hey Mac - i will try and call you tomorrow....

Taylorsdad - i think the spinning helps our children for some reason...

was the lady at Barney Mrs. Peekaboo? she saw us at the show and asked

us if we wanted to meet Barney- she let him go to the front of the line and

they did a photo of our son with him - it's a really nice 8x10. she was an incredibly nice

woman! my son is 13 but he still likes Barney. i hope they never do away with

this show- we all love it!

they do a great show with the characters at Circus Mcgurcus too.

the woman who does the narration is fantastic!

i am assuming that means you didn't get dizzy from the ride.

whew............

if you would have said yes, i would be hanging my head in shame.

i think i finally realized it was all in my head and when i finally relaxed -

i loved it!! same with "cat in the hat" - i actually enjoyed the spinning.

loved Spiderman this time too!!

did NOT get up my nerve to ride Mummy though:rolleyes1

Wow, that's a great story dsmom. Just shows how much magic there is at Universal (can you say magic here?) other than at Harry Potter. But I would have been so nauseated.

yeah, i used to HATE spinning but thanks to my son i kind of like it now:)

i am now getting up my nerve to get on a roller coaster :scared1:
