Cat Cora's Restaurant?

Does anyone have an ETA as to when Cat Cora's restaurant will be opening at Boardwalk? All I can find is "this fall".

Spoodles is closing definitively on August 2 and I've seen recent reports that said (1) the site will be closed for a "minimum of 2 weeks" and that (2) Kouzzina will open in late summer (not fall as previously reported).

If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say Kouzzina will most likely open sometime in the month of September or early/mid-October. We are figuring there's an outside shot we'll be able to eat there on our September 5-14 vacation but are not getting our hearts set on it.

But no, no official opening date has been announced ... in fact it's not even on Disney's website yet, unlike Paradiso 37.

Mine does too! He's a huge Iron Chef America fan. It is his favorite show, and it's a good thing too, because it influences him to cook and I don't cook!

I just spoke with two different CM's at two different Disney numbers and they all said that they don't have a hard opening date yet, but it's currently being projected to reopen early September and to keep checking back. I'm hoping to eat their 9/4!

They're not expecting a long turnaround between Spoodles closing (Aug. 1) and Cat Cora's Kouzzina opening, so look for the first week in September.

I read one report today of someone trying to make a 9/3 reservation for Spoodles and being offered Kouzzina instead (she turned it down). I also read two reports of people trying to make reservations today for it and being told it was not in the system yet.

I'm certainly planning to ask when I call on Sunday.

My friend tried to book today for Sept 20 she did call it the place that used to be spoodles and they told her it was still going to be Spoodles. She got a confirmation number too... I am thinking the CM wasn't in the loop....

I booked my dining last Thursday and I looked up Spoodles. The online system allowed me to book for September 19. Hopefully they anticipate Kouzzina being ready..

The online system is allowing Spoodles bookings well past the scheduled closing date, so if the CM wasn't well-informed and was only going by what the system told her, that would explain it.
