Anyone have experience with a Cat 8A on the Dream or Fantasy? I read several great older threads on topic, and we're sold; just booked #6514 on the Dream for summer 2017! Curious, though, that even though this particular cabin (on the Dream, at least) is not *technically* considered an HA room (I believe they were originally intended to be, hence the spacious layout, but something about them ended up not being 100% ADA compliant or something?)... is there a high likelihood that we could get bumped/upgraded if someone with mobility issues needed the room? Mind you, I would NEVER even think of taking an HA room away from someone who needed it, but not sure how they treat these since they're not HA.

We just stayed in that exact stateroom this past August, and it was wonderful. That's the category I would always want on the Dream! This room has a tub, not a shower, so I very much doubt they would bump you for someone with mobility issues. (I think the HA all have walk-in showers because they are easier for people who have difficulty with mobility.) We were afraid they would "upgrade" us to a verandah, which we did not want (heard it occasionally happens), so we asked them to put a note on our room that we did not want to be upgraded. That's not a guarantee, but the DCL agent said they try to honor it. Please let me know if you have any specific questions about the room.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to be upgraded. We stayed in 5220 split layout. It's an amazing room and not once did we miss a verandah. I loved this room. Tons of space and the bed is right next to the porthole. We were on starboard side.
