I am considering a 4 days land, 3 days sea package in 2006 (2 adults, 2 kids). Given school vacations, I have a choice of Feb 12 OR April 15. Given my budget, I can either do a cat-6 on Feb 12 (stay in the Poly, cat-6 cabin, $47xx online rate - $38xx at Costco) OR a cat-12 on April 15 (stay in Pop, cat-12 cabin, $52xx online rate, $43xx at Costco).

Pros of Feb : lower price, (much) better cabin & resort, FEWER CROWDS !
Pros of April : BETTER WEATHER for swimming & snorkeling !!

Which would you choose ??? Why ??

If it were me, I would take the April cruise. Weather is a bit more dependable. I am taking my DW and two DD in July, and I know the cruise part will be great, but the WDW part will be a bit warm. :sunny:

I have to agree also, we went in dec. 2004 and it was a bit chilly in WDW, weather on CC was beautiful and warm.....but you could feel the cool breeze. I would definitely try another time of year if I had to go again....

My sister is on the magic as we speak...although they are heading further than Nassau & CC they probably will get nice weather....

Give April a try, I bet you won't regret it. If you plan your land part...using FP and EMH you'll probably get to enjoy WDW as much as anyone else and you'll get nice weather as a bonus. Check out the weather in WDW today...and you 'll know if you and your family would enjoy visiting in that temp. I personally would take any time of year...It is Disney right?

Have you priced out doing the cruise and the land as separate vacations? Sometimes this can work out to be so much cheaper. Check it out, maybe you can have the Cat 6 in April!

I would choose Cat-6 in Feb., because I think the balcony and oceanview is a hugh plus to the trip, and the weather shouldn't be too bad in Feb. We cruised two times in Dec. right before the Christmas holiday, and we were able to swim and snorkle in CC.

Also, I agree with cjsmith about booking land and sea separately to save some $$.

Good luck!
