Hi,
I have booked my family onto the 4 day cruise on Nov 10th 2005. Our group consists of 2 adults and 2 kids that will be 6 & 8 yrs of age when we travel.
We currently have a Cat 5 Delux room with a balcony. This is cabin number 7074 which is midships and on the 7th level.
I am tempted to upgrade to a Cat 4 Family suite and would therefore like some opinions and advice on this.
I am a very light sleeper so the quieter the cabin the better, needless to say that the bigger the better also applies.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If money isn't an issue then go for it! If it is I wouldn't worry too much about it - you're not really in the room too much and when you are you're pretty exhausted! I myself, though, am kind of a light sleeper on the cruise only because I don't want to waste time sleeping when there's so much else to do, LOL. I'm up before dawn walking on Deck 4. We had 4 of us in a Cat 5 room last cruise and had no problems, plenty of space (in fact we're booked in a Cat 11 - which we've also had before - on our next cruise). The kids sleep like logs on the ship. :boat:

We just got off the Wonder 5/19/05. We had a cat 5 room, stateroom 7070, two doors down from where you will be. The first thing is....we LOVED the LOCATION and there was NO NOISE to be heard of. Except the few times kids were yelling and screaming running down the halls in the morning, but that is a given anywhere. Our room did not have the bunk bed, just the double bed, and the couch that flipped into a bed. It was just my ds and I, so I can't compare it for you too much. We did however visit friends in a cat 9 room that had a porthole, with the double bed and bunk bed. They were a family of 4 with a 6 and 8 year old. They were on deck two and were happy with their room.
