Is category 4 worth the extra $ over a 5/6? DH thinks we need the 4 but for the price and seemingly similar layout a 5/6 looks fine to me.

Good morning!

I just changed from a Cate 4 to category 6 yesterday. I think it would depend on the number of people in your party. There are just 2 of us. From everything I have read the main difference is an extra 30 sq feet at the end of the cabin for the murphy bed so category 4 can sleep 5 people.

To me the extra$$$ was too much for that amount of space.

Hope that helps.

We stayed in a Cat 5 two years ago, then last year were upgraded to a Cat 4. It had a little more room, but not enough to make a difference to us. We've booked a Cat 5 for our cruise this year.

Also, there are just 3 of us - maybe if you had 4 you might benefit from the extra room?

I visited my friends cat 4, we were in a 6. Personally, it didn't feel much bigger. So, we're still going with our 6 for future cruises.

we were very happy and comfy in our cat 4 room. we upgraded when the fla rates came out from a 6 to a 4. I loved being on the 8th floor. one flight up and we were at the pool, etc. we had 2 adults and 2 kids.
