Cat 3.

We are booked for Cat 3 Suite 8548.I have heard that we are in a smaller Cat 3. We can't change please tell me we won't be toooo dissapointed with our Suite.There are only myself,DW & DS ( 12 yr old. )

You'll love it. The bigger Cat 3's are needed for a family of 5 (the pull down isn't in the master bedroom). For a family of 3, you'll be just fine.

You're right that it is definitely one of the smaller cat 3's. We stayed in 8548 two years ago, and I was disappointed at first since the cat 3 we had the year before that was much larger. But for a family of 3, you will definitely have plenty of room. There are 4 of us and we did just fine! We stayed in 8102 the year before that and it is way bigger (actually has the biggest verandah on the ship - bigger than the cat 1's!), but the sleeping arrangements in 8548 are better, so again, you'll be very comfortable. We even had a party in that suite and had as many as 15 people in there, so don't worry!

I'd keep trying for a mid-ship Cat. 3. People do cancel and they open up. That's how we got ours.

We have had 8548 twice and last cruise we were in 8032. You will be fine because we are only a family of three. Our daughter(age 12) sleeps on the fold out sofa in the living room of 8548. In 8032 she slept on the murphy style bed in the living room. We prefer the midship cat 3's because of the slightly different layout--verandah is huge, living room is huge and the murphy style bed is also in the living room not the master bedroom. The master bath is smaller in 8032 but I liked that--it is huge in 8548. We are in 8548 again in March '06 but have waitlisted for a midship cat. 3 if one opens up. If not I would take 8548 with no problem. Both styles of cat. 3's are huge compared to a cat. 6, 5, or 4. Kathy
