Cat 3 sofa bed question

My assumption has always been that it is queen sized, but I really don't know. As far as comfort, only my kids have slept on it, and they're too light to feel the springs or anything. But it didn't look bad from what I saw.

We had two (skinny) teen girls sleep on one. I't's a double (tad bigger than a full) and they were miserably uncomfortable.

And I've slept on one myself, alone. It isn't TOO bad, but I ended up turning kind of sideways to avoid the "bar across the back".

It's probably fine for littler kids.

would you say the murphy bed is more comfortable for an adult? (short female - if that matters)

Very uncomfortable for teen and up...little ones will do fine. My girls highly prefer the murphy bed...much more comfy!

It would be a lot more firm. I would prefer it (short female;)) by far, over the sofa bed.

it looks as tho my in-laws will be sleeping on the sofa bed! :scared1: will the dcl staff do anything to accompany us if they are terribly uncomfortable? extra bedding or anything?

At shutters, we've used our camera to take pictures of the pictures. You'll get glare from the flash but if you have a good camera, you can turn off the flash.

Even with the flash, the glare is sometimes not noticeable. But the pictures are still good....for free!

They do have extra blankets & egg crates available. My 10 year old ( at the time ) found it so bad that she cried.... Even after adding the extra blankets & egg crates it was unusable ( not too mention filthy and unmade when we boarded, but that is another story ).

We moved her into the murphy bed and all was fine.

Unless they have changed them out, I don't think many adults will find it acceptable.
