Cat 3 at Hoop Dee Do

Any audience participation in Cat 3 Balcony? I just booked for April 9th and this was only cat. available. Food will be good, i'm sure, just wondering how good a view of the show.

I would think the view would be good, the balcony is around the floor, like in a U kind of facing the stage. They do go up there a couple of times to talk to people.

We were on the balcony in August and we could see everything. In fact, we were originally supposed to be on the floor but DD17 didn't come and a couple of CM's looked over the seating chart and put us upstairs instead. At first, I was going to ask if we could have our original table instead, but DH said the balcony seats were better because we had such a good view.

We're planning on going back with my parents in Sept. and I was going to book the balcony again because we were very happy with it.

We request the balcony because I like the view. And - the last time we sat on the floor my dad got picked to be in the show. I'm not saying it won't happen in the balcony, but he feels safer there. As for other participation, I think the balcony is a good spot. There aren't that many tables up there, and they send one of the cast upstairs during the welcome song.

We're huge HDD fans, and the last time we went (9:00 show) there were only two or three tables seated upstairs. Six-bits came up and we got to have a pretty long talk - if anyone heard us it was quite grizzly and unbearable.

We had no interaction on our entire side on the balcony. The performers did go up on the other side and ask about someone's birthday. I wouldn't go again if I were stuck up on the balcony. Also your back faces the stage unless you turn around. Not very comfortable and forget about eating while the show is going because your back is to it.

1) Try for Cat-1.
2) I would NEVER sit in Cat-3.
