Cat 1, 2 or 3 for Ca?

Just wondering if anyone was able to book a cat 1, 2 or 3 for any of the Ca. cruises

We put in for a catagory 1 also. I would also like to know if anyone has gotten one of these. We were on the phone right away when booking started and were so hoping to get a catagory 1. Thats OK! At least I'm POSITIVE we will have a good time no matter what catagory were in

They were not booking the suites when the reservations opened up.
They were going to go through the requests that they had gotten in advance first. Some people had requested Cat1, 2, 3 as much as two years ago, so they are going through those first.
Then they will go through the list again after today when the deposits were due. If there are any suites left, most people will be getting a call from DCL tomorrow (Monday).
This holds true for all of the summer 2005 sailings on the Magic.
They have started to go through and make these calls, and yes, some people have already booked the suites.
But, no, not me....haven't heard back yet.

We got in 20" after reservations started on Wednesday hoping for a Cat. 3 but like everyone else we are waitlisted. I was hoping someone here had gotten lucky for one of the suites.

We are still waiting....

They cleared us for 4 category 4 rooms, but we were hoping to get two category 1 or two category 2.

We hear different stories from everyone: different TA's and DCL all have a different story.

We too are still waitlisted. We currently have two category fours.

We were booked early on Wednesday.

Hoping that something opens up by the time balances are due 60 days before sailing

They opened a cat 3 for us with a connecting cat 4. We are on the wl for a Cat 2.

Congrats! Hope you don't mind me asking, but did they CALL you or did you ask for it? I booked a Cat. 4 within the first 30 min. and am waitlisted for 2 and 3, but have not heard anything. Waiting IMPATIENTLY

Our TA couldn;t do anything so we called directly. We were already on the waitlist for the regular Aug 2005 cruise, and politely pressed the issue. They put us on hold for a while and came back with the good news.

We are traveling West to East through the canal
