Castmember Discount ?

I am hoping this is the place to post. My brother is there recently on a college intern. and not sure of all the discounts but knows he gets a considerable one for the hotels has anyone had this experience, if so do you know if i will be able to pay the remaining balance with my disney rewards points?

I was a castmember there years ago. yes, the rates were AWESOME! We got to stay at a lot of the deluxe resorts for really cheap. He will also get a discount on merchandise. He just needs to call and say he's a castmember and get the rates for your dates. He will have to check in with you (I think he is supposed to stay w/ you too...) If I were you, I would try a couple different resorts that you normally wouldn't pay that much for!

I'm not sure about the reward points.
