Castle Rehab. Any new Info???

I know a month or so ago there were a few posts flying around about how long it would take to take the gold off the castle.

I guess it is supposed to start in mid sept, but there were several answers floating around about how long it would take and how long the crane would be there.

I tried emailing Disney in July but was told they did not have anything concrete yet to tell me.

I know people say you can't see the crane, etc ,etc but I know me and it will bother me. Has anyone heard anything new about this? Thanks

I'm wondering this too.

I'm also wondering how it will affect Wishes. It's my favorite fireworks show, and in my opinion the castle is a big part of the show. Right now on Disney's website, Wishes is still scheduled, and when I called to confirm my ADR's, they said they are still showing it.

The woman I spoke to said that you will still be able to walk through the castle, but through a different entrance. She was very vague. I guess we will have to wait and see when people come back from their trips. I hope it doesn't affect the castle look that much. I'm really disappointed about it. I know it had to happen sometime, but I wish I would have known when it was scheduled so I could make my honeymoon earlier or later.
