Castle lighting - 2nd show

With when we have dinner reservations (the plaza - 5:30) we are going to have to see the second castle lighting show. I am worried that seeing it after the castle has already been lit is going to be lame. Am I overthinking it??? We will be there in 12/29.

I thought the same thing when I heard they were doing two castle lighting shows. Seems a little anticlimactic to have it lit, and turn the lights off just to light them again.

Think that the first show is at 6:15 nightly, then 2nd show varies depending on the day between 7:30 and 8:00!

So glad I'm not the only person who thinks this way! It seems so odd to have two lightings. For me, once they're on they're on.
