Made our day. Last day of our trip and it's open! Love that Disney magic! Hooray!

Early April Fools joke? I want pictures, too. I'll be there tomorrow, and I blame you if I get my hopes up and it's covered.

Disney Magic! Walked in, I decided to take the double-decker bus and when it turned the corner the castle was beautiful and Uncovered! One of those times I'm so glad I was wrong. Just turned a good trip into a great one!

I thought for sure it would be dripping in diamonds. I hope they don't tarp it again. Looks great though.

Um...what's different?
Looks like the gold is more of a silver color. The pink maybe different but it is hard to tell from pictures if that is just the lighting. They probably just did the prep work and will put the finishing touches closer to May.

Makes sense! Thanks!

yeah I was hoping for that too. I would love to catch some of those falling diamonds. :)
I will only return some of the Diamonds, if Disney promises to return the court of angels to its people!
Double bonus if the movie ad ins at the Pirates of the Caribbean ride attraction set sail Permanently! Danke Schoen

The various colors on the bricks seem sharper too. I was just elated to see it. Made my kids day to see it and do the walk through.

I have pictures on my cell phone and SD card which I have to transfer to my computer. Once I do, I can post a picture or 2.

For me, seeing the Castle open, lit up and in all it's magnificence almost brought me to tears...and I am a 58 year old man...as it was also my first time to Disneyland and it was just wonderful to see it for real.

EDIT: okay pics have been transferred and here is the only one I have that is small enough to upload here

Why can't you upload your pictures from your phone on the dis mobile site? You just take it from your gallery.

Reason is simple. I don't have the mobile app on my cell phone I was using and I have already removed the images from the cell phone onto my computer so I can reset it for my business use.

I tried to upload a couple of other images but the board said they were too big.

I see. True if the image size is larger than 1 MB. Then it can't be uploaded through the upload a file function. Then using a image hosting website needs to be utilized. Also, it isn't an ap. Just simply a mobile version web site.
