Castle Decorations

I was at the MK today and took a couple of close-ups of the new decorations for all to see.

I didn't think it was possible for it to look even more beautiful! Does anyone know when all the decorations will be completed and the walls will come down permanently?

Half of the wall surrounding the hub is already down so I would imagine in the next couple of weeks the other side will be down.

Not sure though what is happening when they start work on the stage area.

Oh, thank you for the pics!! I was wondering if the castle would be covered up when we go, but looks like it may be completed!!
It is beautiful! I have much to show my in-laws since they have never been to WDW.

I doubt the castle will stay that way. It's part of a celebration.

No it is for Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Celebration.

My DH read on another disney site that they will be having characters flying above the top spiral of the castle. Is this true?!?!? I am so interested in this now. I think the castle looks so beautiful! I am not partial to when they "make-over" certain aspects of the parks (think-birthday cake) usually! But I think the castle will look amazing!

I feel sorta bad now that our DD's won't get to see it, this will be our first solo trip without the kids. (this is an "empty nest syndrome" relief trip )

Well the Mickey's sorcerer hand (or at least the big 2000) over Spaceship Earth was supposed to be for a celebration only and it'b been there for five years now...so who knows?

You know that big pink birthday cake was the first time I can remeber seeing that castle. I went to MK when I was 2 or 3 but I can't remember that and then when we went in 89 we didn't go to MK so My first impression was of that horrendous cake. I still can't beleive that they did that to the beautiful castle. Even though the castle decorations aren't going to finished for my trip I still can't wait to see it!
