Hi. I am trying to arrange for a Castle Club room for May, they told me it is not booking until Nov. 6th. So I have a few questions...

What time is tea? Is it possible to have the tea on the day you check in? Is check in time around 3 p.m.?

Characters? Do they have characters come around during the breakfast or just downstairs for breakfast?

Also, do they only have drinks at specific times or do they some waters or soda all the time?

Thanks, Heather

Hi Heather

We were there last month and it was fab.

Characters came into the lounge every breakfast. Having breakfast with Mickey every morning was truely a dream come true(for me anyway:cool1: )
There were a variety of characters in the morning(they seemed to change every half hour or so) in addition to those downstairs who you can see from the balcony(or go and have a photo)

Tea was between 4 and 5.30(but they will tell you at check in) although we were later one day and were still able to have tea(the CM even asked us if we wanted anything else as she was going to lay out more food) There was a different choice every day and it was delicious.

We checked in at about 9am but our room wasn't ready until 3pm, however, we were able to use the lounge facilities throughout the day(as we popped back a few times just to have a drink)

Soft drinks and hot drinks were freely available throughout the day and you can buy acoholic drinks if you want to.

I also thought that the VIP fastpasses were priceless

IMO, it was worth every single penny and I would most definately recommend it.:cheer2: :cheer2: It really was a fantastic experience. Have a magical time

Thanks for the information. We're booked to go in February next year.

Is the character interaction similar to Cafe Mickey? I don't fancy chasing DD around looking for characters!:rolleyes1

I didn't expect any characters to come into the lounge, I thought they were just outside the restaurants at the photo points.

So it was a great surprise when Mickey called in each morning. He worked his way around each table and on two occasions was accompanied by an official photographer(The CM who also accompanied also took a picture using our camera). When we were leaving another character called and on our way out to the parks, we saw a different character in the lounge.(So if you stay a while, I presume you'd see a few, although it may be worth checking with the CM's)

Minnie was fab and did a lap of honour around the floor, posing for photos.
We also saw some other charcters as they made their way downstairs.

We also had fun watching the characters downstairs from the balcony and went to have a few photos when it was quiet.

All the character interaction in the Castle Club was absolutely fantastic and worth the money for that alone(IMO)

You will have a great time, the Cm's just cannot do enough for you.

DH and DD are not as fanatic about Disney as DD and I but the Castle Club really won them over.

Wow. THANK YOU for the very quick replies. You have definitely won me over even more that we need to do the Castle Club.

I can just imagine now how the kids, expecially my 6 year old dd will love the tea. This helps me a lot trying to plan what time to get our flight into CDG so we arrive in time for the Tea.

Thanks, Heather

Thanks so much for the information, Castle Club sounds wonderful! and I'll be there in just over a month!

Hi.

Slightly off topic but I'm confused about the Castle Club breakfast?

Is it in Inventions and do you have to pay any extra?

I've read conflicting reports!

Can't wait to go now!!!

Castle Club breakfast in in the CC lounge. You don't have to pay extra.
Breakfast is great!
CC is great, in 9 weeks we will be there! Can't wait!

Breakfast is served in the Castle Club Lounge and is much quieter then the restaurants downstairs.
I wanted to eat in the restaurants downstairs to see the characters outside but DH demanded we eat in the lounge. He was right of course as we never had to wait, the food was lovely (and lots of it) and we had our very own character interaction. A very relaxing and perfect start to each day:cloud9:

There is no extra cost for breakfast but there is an extra cost for CC and although it is quite a lot, it really is worth it, IMO.

You really will have a great time. I know whichever hotel you stay at you have a magical time but CC most definately makes you feel special:hug:
