Castle Cakes?

Has anyone gotten one of these?...I've seen the thread on the Cinderella Slipper Dessert with the pictures & would love this, but I think the castle cake might be better for our bday celebration.
I would love feedback on these special desserts & how to go about ordering them. Thanks so much.

They cost $25 (for individual one) and need 48 hours notice at GF bakery.

I have seen several posts about these special cakes. Do you have to be a GF guest to order?

We are staying at ASMo in November, and there will be an adult birthday in the group that week. I thouhgt one of these cakes might be a nice touch. I would love to see photos if anyone knows of a link or has one to post.

These are mini- wedding cakes. Two or Three Tiers, but very little. These are the cakes that are served at the disney weddings. Some couples use these as an alternative or in addition to the regular cake. But remember, small....an individual serving.

They are only available at the GF as far as I know and you must order them 48 hrs ahead and you can have them at any GF restaurant and maybe you room as well.

These cakes are a specialty of GF bakers.

I read somewhere else that you can order them from GF Bakery and then pick them up in the lobby if you are not eating or staying at GF. You might want to just call the GF Bakery and ask them if you can just pick it up.

odd question - We have ressie for V&A - do they bring these desserts there?

If not can they be picked up? Does anyone know the costs of the Mickey & the castle cakes.
