Castaway - stingray logistics

Thinking of booking Husband and son (5) to do the stingray adventure on Castaway Cay, which would leave me with my daughters (3 and 1). Would we all get off the ship together? Would there be somewhere for the girls and I to wait while the boys did the stingray thing? I was thinking maybe we could all disembark together and they could drop us at the family beach before heading to the stingrays, but I don’t really have a good sense of the layout. Is the walk to the stingrays really far and/or is there a tram? Thanks!!

Those booked on an excursion will have a specific location to meet, often onboard but it may depend on the time.

I would think you and the girls could either stay onboard and enjoy Nemo's Reef in relatively quiet, or head off the ship and enjoy the beach. There are wagons you can borrow or take the tram to the family beach.

if you take a look at the map, you will see that the rays are at H. You will actually pass this location on your way to the family beaches. For this excursion, your DH and DS will meet at the rays at whatever time you reserved. You do not meet on the ship for this excursion. You can all get off the ship together, and you and the girls could enjoy the beach while they are doing the excursion, or you and your daughters could choose to stay on the ship while they enjoy the excursion. Your older daughter is eligible for the secured club area on the island called Scuttle's Cove, but your little one is not. So, lots of choices.

My husband and kids did the stingray feeding. I stayed with them until they went into the water. You can hang out by the waterline and sand. They also had beach chairs in the sand you can sit on. There were other people waiting for their family members by me on the beach chairs. The family beach is walking distance away too. Not a far walk away fyi.
