Castaway club question.

hi all!!

I do not know if this a weird question, or if this answer is somewhere else but... we are going in our second cruise (got addicted lol) and we are wondering for the gift in the room for Castaway Club is it per member or per room?

So will my husband and I each get one, or will we be sharing?

You were extremely lucky, then. The gift is one gift per room, based on highest Castaway Club level.

It used to be a backpack for one stateroom then a key chain or water bottle per person plus the yummy rice crispy treat for each person as well. Now it’s only the backpack. I have two of the red and two of the blue one. Wish to get something different for a change.

When we got our first CC gift it was a beach bag, two rice krispie cookies and two water bottles. When they changed the bag, we got the new bag, two (different) rice krispie cookies and one keychain.

Then it just went to a bag (of some sort) as the basic gift, plus something else (one other thing) for gold, and the choice of truffles/fruit plate/sparkling wine for platinum

The bag has changed (but it's still a bag for the basic gift). The gold gift has varied. We've gotten the Disney Cruise line thermal cup (1) on one cruise, but 2 on another. We've also gotten a game time and a couple of cruises. I believe now it's some oversized luggage tags.

The platinum gift remains the same.

It should not. Unless there are differing levels between the staterooms.

We just went on our second cruise on the fantasy. Received the blue castaway club backpack pictured above.

Only one, even though my husband was also in the stateroom.

Nothing else.

For platinum we have been getting the sling bag as well as 2 luggage tags for the past few cruises, as well as bingo promo and choice of fruit tray, truffles or sparkling wine. Also, there have been discounts on Rainforest pass (not consistently)
For our first few cruises as platinum it was the bag plus two tumblers plus the other items mentioned. I really liked those tumblers.

It really differs based on CC level more than cabin to cabin. For example, 2nd time cruisers will get a backpack.
Gold CC members (6th to 10th time) will get a backpack and possibly a couple of luggage tags along with a 10% merchandise discount in the shops (not on CC) Platinum CC members (11th and up) will get a backpack, 2 luggage tags as well as other perks like the choice of a box of truffles, a fruit tray or sparkling wine , complimentary Palo experience (either Brunch or dinner) per each eligible adult in the cabin, 10% discount on merchandise in the shops on board, as well as other offers that are noted on a welcome letter in their cabin.

Did they give you a reason why you did not get one? Out of stock perhaps? And was it your second or more cruise? Because you only get them on cruises 2 and up.

I never got an answer. Our stateroom host said it was not listed on our items to be left in the room even though we were listed as Silver. Never heard any more on it.

Odd. Was it your second cruise though? I noted you only have one noted as November 2014...was there another one prior to that?

Once you complete one cruise you are Silver.
