Hey

We board the dream this Friday

Was just wondering how is CC looking now after the hurricane

Also has there been any cruises over the last few weeks not get to CC because of the weather ?

We just got off the Dream on a B2B, so was at CC last Friday and this past Sunday. Both days were beautiful, no problems docking, and the island had no obvious damage that I could see. Water was a bit cool but many people were swimming and snorkeling. I did see the Crazy Horse Jet Boat Adventure was canceled on Sunday...but I don't know why.

I agree!

I haven't been before the hurricane, but it looked beautiful for sure!
And I may have been on the same ship as BuckeyeFortFan (Dream sailing on Dec 2 to 6) and we were there last Thursday. It was cold and water was really salty.
Many activities were cancelled, but didn't bother us as we didn't plan on doing any of the water activities.

Yes...we were on the same boat. And you are right, it was Thursday we were there, not Friday. That's what 7 days of not caring what day it is will do to you!

YAY! I truly enjoyed it very much! And FROZEN II !!!

AND, wasn't it amazing to see Magic's firework (if you had the chance)?

Did 2 days at CC last week. It was great overall. Day 1 was warm but very windy. We still spent the entire day off the ship. Day 2 was a little cooler (but still warm in my opinion) with no wind, so a perfect day. The water was a little cold but my toddler had no problem playing in it, and I had no problem snorkeling.

We didn't visit Serenity Bay so I can't comment on the state of that beach.

Wondering how Serenity Bay is looking. We were on in August and it looked fine before the hurricane. We went again in November after the hurricane and there was a lot of erosion. There’s normally 2 rows of loungers/umbrellas, but only one row and it was right up against the shore when you first come on to the beach. We had a hard time finding loungers. We walked to the end and there were none. We got lucky because a couple said they were leaving and gave us their spot.

There was still a lot of erosion when we were there a few weeks ago. This was probably the only lingering issues from the storm. There were two rows when I went, but it looks like they lost at least a foot of beach height and yes, the water was much closer than it was when we went in April. But, beaches in the Bahamas change. Sometimes islands change too.
