Castaway Cay Shells

Does anyone have a guess at why (for the most part) all of Castaway Cay's shells are the same size, shape, and color?

Most places you go, you'll find similar shells in terms of size and shape, its how the environment works. The tides generally move like massed/sized items in similar fashion. Also consider the family beaches are largely protected by the breaker barrier. Most of the beach was also dredged sand from the ship channel. It wouldn't be outside the realm that Disney also drops some shells periodically. The adult beach is also similarly a low depth area so not a lot of shell movement.

For those inquiring people, Disney does request that you not remove shells, sand, or any plants to allow enjoyment by all.
