Castaway Cay Postage question

Is it the same stamps to mail a postcard on Castaway Cay as it is in Nassau?

Thought I could save time and stop by the post office in Nassau rather than waiting in line at Castaway Cay Post Office.

No (at least not the last time we were there) they were Disney Cruise Line stamps, exclusive to Castaway Cay and the Post Mark is from CC rather than the Bahamas. It takes a while to get where it's going, but it is a nice touch. We mailed postcards to ourselves just to have the CC stamp on them

The post office tends to run out of their own postcards.....I would recommend going early, or if you prefer not to, purchase your postcards at the gift shop on ship or CC on way back to ship, and then onto post office....

What would the postage rate be to mail a post card to Europe from CC or Nassau? Or to the US?

Dont expect postcards posted at CC to arrive home before you do! We posted ours 16days ago and none have arrived yet! You would be quicker posting them earlier in the week from the islands - unless you want CC postmark on them. Nat

I was on a 4 night cruise back in Nov 2004 and sent a postcard to my co-workes. I was back to work and a month later the postcard arrive. It was still fun. I had a great laugh and it brought back so many momeries...

i mailed many postcards from cc in oct 2004 - and they have yet to arrive!! still being hopeful!
