My 9 yr old is also on the spectrum. Despite also hating water on his face and and hair he loves CC.
We finally found a good pair of goggles he loves and despite him being a really strong swimmer he still has to wear a float if he is doing PP
I recommend you get off earlier... you'll get characters, it'll still be warm but cooler.. donthe slides enjoy the amenities, get lunch then go back. Every trip we have had there have been afternoon showers at CC. We end up back on the boat, go to the ice cream shop? And a movie.
But also, don't under estimate the pull of vibe
They are going to have planned meet ups that day and your kids might really want to participate.
