castaway cay/lobster tails

Read you can get lobster tail at castaway cay on the adult beach.

We are not going to formal nite were lobster tails are servered.

Is this our only chance to get them.

How far is the adult beach from the family beach?

Is it worth trying to get lobster tails back to the family beach?

If we go to Topsider/room service on formal nite can we get lobster tails.

Far, but there is a shuttle tram that makes it very easy.

I don't think they served them there; only lobster burgers sometimes.

If we go to Topsider/room service on formal nite can we get lobster tails.

I would think not at Topsiders, not sure about room service.

Why are avoiding formal nite? You don't have to dress THAT fancy.

We agree, don't want to "dress that fancy".

DH wants to relax. I want no stress. (If we are dressed right for formal nite).

We all pay for the DCL. We should all get the same perks. No matter what a disney family dicides to wear. We all love the Magic/Wonder that Disney has to offer

We just returned from a 3-day Wonder trip. We ate lunch at the adult beach. The choices were hot dogs, burger, steak sandwich, and a grilled chicken sandwich. The lunch was okay. The lobster burgers were served at Cookie's BBQ by the family beach - but NO lobster tails.

Yes, I should have mentioned the lobster tails only happen on the 7day cruises.

And if you don't want to dress up that's ok too.

There were no lobster tails at the adult beach while we were there recently.

The only lobster was lobster burgers and they were being served at the family beach restaurant.

I could be wrong....but I thought I read a post a while back that Topsiders serves the same menu as the rotation dining rooms on formal and semi formal nights. This is to discourage people from going to the formal dining rooms in shorts. I have never experienced this, only read about it....
